How do I open the safe mode in Windows 8

In previous versions of Windows, you opened the advanced startup options by pressing F8. Windows 8 start so quickly that there is no time to press F8. There are two ways the screen with the boot settings for Windows Windows 8 to open:

  • If you have not logged on to Windows:
    • Tap or click the icon on / off via the login screen and hold Shift hold. Tap or click Restart.

When you are logged on to Windows:
  1. Press the Windows -test + C to your charms to openen.selecteer Settings and then tap or click Changing PC Settings.
  2. Tap or click General.
  3. Under Advanced Boot Options tap or click Restart Now
  • In the Windows startup screen settings:
    1. Screen Choose an option select Problem.
    2. Tap or click Advanced Options and then select Startup Settings.
    3. Tap or click Restart.
    4. Screen Startup Settings select the desired boot option.
    5. Log into your PC with a user account with administrator rights.
