In previous versions of Windows, you opened the advanced startup options by pressing F8. Windows 8 start so quickly that there is no time to press F8. There are two ways the screen with the boot settings for Windows Windows 8 to open:
- If you have not logged on to Windows:
- Tap or click the icon on / off
via the login screen and hold Shift hold. Tap or click Restart.
- Tap or click the icon on / off
When you are logged on to Windows:
- Press the Windows
-test + C to your charms to openen.selecteer Settings and then tap or click Changing PC Settings. - Tap or click General.
- Under Advanced Boot Options tap or click Restart Now
- In the Windows startup screen settings:
- Screen Choose an option select Problem.
- Tap or click Advanced Options and then select Startup Settings.
- Tap or click Restart.
- Screen Startup Settings select the desired boot option.
- Log into your PC with a user account with administrator rights.
